"My personal relationship with Donnie Darko is complex. Because I love it, I chose to show it as one of the first Late Night films at the Art Theater. However, that screening turned into one of my worst experiences as a novice movie exhibitor (you'll have to attend this screening to hear that story!). However, I am excited to be part of this event. This film definitely rewards repeat watching and discussion. There are many possible interpretations, so we look forward to hearing members of the audience explain their different takes on the film to each other!”
